The training is uniquely designed to be both highly structured and a non-linear environment where students learn at their own pace.

Personal goals are met while studying plant–based whole ingredients. Follow optimum preparations in order to unlock nutrients, personal growth and layers of satisfaction.

Immersions

Immersions offers an experience and understanding of The Language of Intuitive™Cooking, Quiet Cook Close To Center™,while engaging improvisation.

The highly structured, mentor-guided curriculum helps students experience the creative process and opportunities to enjoy immediate success with intuitive cooking.

With a mentor in the student’s kitchen, ingredients are organized and identified on how best to use them.Small groups of 1 – 4 students

Each Immersion requires a different number of lab sessions and amount of preparation time to practice and study.

All classroom instruction is in English. Proficiency with the English language is required.

Mentors

Certified Natural Cook teachers are well versed in cooking for all diets. Although we do not teach“diet” participants will easily understand howc reativity in the kitchen works, allowing wholefood plant-based ingredients to work with any diet.

This is an important relationship. You will have access to your mentor during the duration of the scheduled immersion. Following the immersion you will continue to enjoy the benefits of The Natural Cook— Collective.

The immersion format is a personal trainer in your kitchen and how you are thinking about the content. Mentors will guide, train, test, correct,inspire, and give feedback.

This is a deep dive into The School of Natural Cookery, but your training doesn’t have to end with the short, concentrated, mentored immersion.

Review the bio of the mentors and select a schedule to fit your life. Mentors offer options for international times and language support.

Two Ways To Participate

Upon registration, everyone is enrolled into the open classroom, of the training option purchased.

Choosing a guided Immersion is available at anytime. Either scheduling from within the classroom, or during the initial purchase from the website.

Open classoom

The training environment includes many layers of information and a variety of ways to navigate.

Published Books

Content is included from the founder’s published books and reference material from other writers.

Videos

Most video demonstrations were filmed between 2008 – 2010 on location of one of the original teaching kitchens at The School of Natural Cookery in Boulder, Colorado.

The videos demonstrate details of plant-based cooking methods, techniques, and an opportunity to observe the founder’s creative process that is the source of The School of Natural Cookery training.

Workbook

An extensive, valuable workbook is available as a pdf within the classroom format. It contains many charts and templates organized to follow the content of lessons in addition to mapping out the creative possibilities. We encourage students to download the workbook and template pdfs to print them. The workbook organizes and contains the volumes of information in the open classroom.

Curriculum Mentored - Immersion

Join an Immersion to work with a mentor in a group of 1 – 6 students. Once you select your training option, you can select to participate in the Immersion. The details about the Immersion’s weekly schedule and content will be available.

Schedule to join with the time of day and day of the week also review the bio of the mentors. Mentors offer options for international times and language support for students where English is a second language. But all the video and classroom instruction is in English. Proficiency with the English language is required. But a mentor will offer support. The mentor’s profile will describe language’s offered.

Immersions require 2.5 hours a week, in your kitchen, with two cameras.

Each training option requires a different number of weeks for immersions.

The structured curriculum offers students immediate success with Intuitive Cooking.

It prepares students to navigate the entire training environment with an experience and understanding of The Language of Intuitive Cooking, how to Cook Close To Center, and engage in improvisation.

With a mentor in the student’s kitchen, ingredients are organized and identified on how best to use them.

2.5 hour practical lab sessions in the student’s kitchen requires using two camera devices for mentors to guide, train, test, correct, inspire, and give feedback. This will also help to activate cooking and speaking with The Language of Intuitive Cooking

Study and cook weekly within the personal goals of each participant.
Teachers are well versed in cooking for all diets. We do not teach a “diet” in this training. But we do apply this training material as experts in eating whole food plant-based ingredients, which really belong to many “diets.”

Preparing for these weekly sessions is required to get the greatest benefit from the experience. Participants will study and practice before each lab session.

Please have a prepared kitchen, personal computer, and strong internet connection to participate in Immersions.
